Iman-AqeedaFinality of Prophethood

Muhammad ﷺ The Final Messenger of Allah: No More Prophets – Part 1

Our Beloved Prophet ﷺ said (meaning): My likeness among the prophets is as a man who, having built a house put the finishing touches on it and made it seemly, yet left one place without a brick. When anyone entered it and saw this, he would exclaim, ‘How excellent it is, but for the place of this brick.’ Now, I am the place of the brick: through me, the line of prophets has been brought to completion. Bukhari

Undoubtedly, Muhammad ﷺ is the final messenger sent by Allah Almigty. The door of prophethood is closed through him. Muhammad ﷺ is the best and the final Messenger, no one will come to this world as a Prophet in anyways. Adding the slightest doubt or any other thought to this belief (i.e., that Muhammad ﷺ was the last prophet), such as that a shadow-prophet would come after him ﷺ — or cherishing such a belief (as the Qadianis have), is of course undoubtedly ‘Kufr’ (disbelief) — total withdrawal from Islam (becoming an apostate). And those who die with this belief will be among the most unfortunate on the Day of Resurrection who will reside in Hellfire forever. Far is that their deeds would be accepted, their faith will be completely on the contrary of truth. (Nauzubillahi Min Zaalik — May Allah Almighty protect us from such consequences! Aameen)

The words stated about are very simple and the orthodox fundamental beliefs of Islam. Still, many Muslims today are falling prey to the conspiracies of infidels. The main reason is that many don’t know about Islam rightly, even though they are Muslims. This is due to a large group of Muslims themselves are ‘ignorant’ about Islam — to express this directly doesn’t seem to be an exaggeration today.

Therefore, common question types that cause confusion even among ignorant Muslims are: “What is the reference to your claim..” or “Why are are you so sure..” and all such.

Ignorance is of various types. If one studies at a lower level and if the individual is asked a question that is related to higher level, that is a different qeustion. The plight of ignorance among us the Muslims regardin g Islam has increased so much so that he has been intimidated by  the basic questions of Islam! Many common Muslims, whether educated or uneducated (this education means literacy) in the society, are being confused by facing the basic questions of Islam because they are unware of the fundementals of Islam!!

Think! Muhammad ﷺ is the final messenger of Allah Almighty — this has also become a matter of confusion for many Muslims(?!) (We seek  refuge in Allah)! If the condition is such, where has the faith reached!?

Now think, an individual, whose knowledge and faith are all light, if such person is offered even something a bit attractive of the world, then it is not surprising that the individual will be caught by it. Individuals alike might think, I will pursue my knowledge and faith in the direction where my worldly interests will be fulfilled(!)  The individual will be lured that it is a great opportunity to succeed in life! A Muslim with weak Imaan might avail the opportuntiy ‘not thinking much’ at what he is abandoning his faith, or even not have the sense what is s/he trading off!!

Do bear in mind, when a greater interest of this world or hereafter prevails, people are ready to sacrifice everything to achieve or protect that interest. One whose real purpose and interest is this world, s/he leaves the hereafter. He whose purpose and interest is the hereafter, he leaves this world and prioritizes the afterlife. Such a test may come that between faith and disbelief, and it is quite obvious, if one is chosen, ther other has to be abandoned.

Every believer needs to be extremely careful! It should not happen that the priceless faith should be abandoned to protect the interests of this world and worldly life. The only consequence of such is dwelling in the hellfire forever! There is nothing more shameful and unfortunate that it.

One of the reasons why infidel-polytheists are trying to play tricks with the faith of Muslims today is (largely) the negligence of us the Muslims. Our negligence is in: knowing and learning the religion ourselves, in teaching the religion to our subordinates and also in obeying the commands and keeping away from the prohibitions of Allah Almighty and His Messenger ﷺ.

One is, to prepare our life according to the command of Allah Almighty. Another is, to prepare it for this world — pursue its wealth and fame. Those who give priority to fulfilling their desires, pursue this the worldly affairs with care. Their greatest sacrifices and sufferings are not for the sake of Allah, but for the gain of worldly wealth, power and honor. If asked to evaluate his own life or the lives of his subordinates, his reply will be on the basis of this world. If there is any thought of the Hereafter, it is very little. If there is an issue to be addressed related to the world, in order to solve it, he might also abandon (or quite ready to leave) his religion fully! Because, it is the world which is the focus of such person’s dreams, plans, thoughts and actions. The gain of the world is gain to him, the loss of the world is loss.

Muhammad ﷺ is the final messenger of Allah Almighty. We are his Ummah (the followers)! It is not enough for a Muslim to claim this ‘only’ verbally. That is not enough to save him from the punishment of Allah Almighty. Many of us may say/claim many things orally. Allah Almighty has commanded to His servants to manifest and show His obedience through firm belief and actions. He knows all that we cherish or desire to do i.e. all the secrets in our heart/mind. There is no way to evade him. The conspirators are constantly casting nets and traps by misinterpreting the Quran and also giving a different meaning of the Hadith! Muslim children are stepping into that trap. Why?! The two main reasons mentioned above are ignorance and negligence. Ignorance about religion and Islam, negligence towards Islam.

Inshallah it will continue
