Never delay three things

Ali رضي الله عنه narrated Prophet ﷺ said [meaning]: O Ali! Never postpone three things:
1. Namaz (prayer) when is time comes.
2. A funeral when it is ready.
3. The marriage of a woman without husband, when suitable match is found for her. Tirmizi

Prefer the equal for others

What you do not prefer for yourself, do not prefer for others. Hakeemul Ummah Thanviرحمة الله عليه

Best asset of the world

Abullah b. Umar رضي الله عنه narrated Prophet ﷺ said [meaning]: The whole world is an asset and the best asset of it is a pious woman. Muslim, Nisai, Al Targhib wal Tarhib, P. 67. Vol. 3

Excessive speech
Reason for weakness in good

The reason for weakness in good deeds is love for the world and no conviction in the hereafter. Hakeemul Ummah Thanvi رحمة الله عليه

Over responsibility

What is sin?

Someone asked: What is sin? The reply given was: That which the heart dislikes. Hakeemul Ummah Thanvi رحمة الله عليه


The person who is not grateful unto mankind (for their kindness) is also not grateful unto Allah.

Moderation in spending
